Food Matters (PART 1) – First 8 Minutes

  3. Locally sourced food from the growers themselves (as they’ll be able to tell you how they produced it and what went into it), organically grown (to minimize/prevent exposure and contamination of pesticides and GM produce.)

  6. I am so disappointed that something as important as this information is not available free. The health industry is already nickle and diming the people to death…but something that can truly help is also offered at a price. Could sponsorships not have made up for the difference in production/distribution costs to assist the poor in watching this free; those who are the sickest among us? And so the story goes…and goes…and goes….

  8. np, and one last thing. myself, i lack the knowledge to the vast amount of food that we can eat and comes directly from nature. you will be surprised that there are stuff we can eat that can fully feed our need for protein, vitamins and whatever we need to sustain a good life. that’s my big wow in this. nature provides all, and not the fuckin supermarket.

  10. hmm ok then sorry if i sounded rude, you can get huge amounts of info on the internet about the subject but what i want to say is this : its not really a diet but a lifestyle. avoid dairy products and meat and sugar and keep cooking to a minimum. when you think about it, it really makes life easier cause you save time preparing,the time on the other hand goes to being really selective and aware to where you buy what goes to your plate.

  11. Ive never looked into a raw food diet, I thought it meant replacing meals which consist of meat and cooked food with just raw food and counting those calories.

  16. They are not saying veggies and fruit is bad, but the way big commercial farms use pesticides. It harms it’s natural state.. Organically grown food, preferably from your garden or your local farmers market is the best . (:

  18. Plant ur own veggies. Even in a small space u can do that. Research it, there are many ways.

  19. meat is not the problem. we evolved to eat meat. grassfed beef is one of the healthiest things you can put in your body…yes organic vegetables are good for you, but dont blame the problem on something that never hurt anyone. its the sugars and grains that make people sick. you can find populations of people that eat high fat animal based diets and do not have any of the western diseases that are so common in our society.
