This wedding(s) we are planning is slowly starting to take the tall on us. We had a small panic attack in the car the other day followed by a stupid argument. The dollar sums scare the hell out of us and we don’t think it’s worth the trouble going through that nightmare. Our wedding is in January, which is then followed by an even bigger party for all her family in Jakarta. Beat that!

A while ago I mentioned that we should take the K and run to Vegas to get married by Elvis. I didn’t think she would say "Yes". The idea is still playing my mind 🙂

So that same night we talked to a few people and calmed down a little, and the whole thing is now still on. Who bloody cares how much it’s going to cost…

Explored, roaming somewhere on the first page! Thank you guys!

Panic attacks can be harmful. The advice in this article will help you find ways to treat panic attacks and deal with stress in a better way.

Discovering the root causes of your panic attack is crucial. When you are concerned about confronting someone who upset you, you run the risk of triggering a panic attack. Express your views rationally and productively to help prevent yourself from going into a panic attack.

Alcohol, while offering the illusion of an instant remedy, is very counterproductive to effectively addressing the issue of panic attacks. If you drink when you feel stressed, you will quickly become dependent and feel stress if you do not drink regularly. If you absolutely cannot keep yourself from drinking, consider seeking professional help.

Taking control of your actions during a panic attack is a great way to get it over with quickly. Battling your fears is the best way to ultimately beat them.

Relaxation techniques such as meditation and yoga go a long way toward relieving stress. Try taking a warm bath or try drinking hot herbal tea. Don’t be afraid to indulge in a cry or ask a loved one for a snuggle. Find what works and do it.

Begin pacifying your racing thoughts and panic symptoms by welcoming your feelings, even the awful ones. Feelings can not harm you and they can also teach you something about yourself. Accept these feelings and you will soon know a lot about your panic attacks.

Understand what it is that is causing your panic attack. Once you have identified the problem, deal with it before it becomes overwhelming. After that, tell them why you asked them that question.

Ironically, it is often the fear of a panic attack that causes the panic attack to occur. Stop focusing on the triggers for your attacks or events that might lead to one. By focusing on a future panic attack, you can actually trigger one. It’s the same principal as when someone tells you not to imagine a certain word, but it immediately becomes the only word you can picture.

To lower the frequency of panic attacks, be sure to get at least eight hours of sleep every night. Lack of sleep increases the chance of having an attack, and it will leave your body weakened, meaning that you will be less able to deal with one if it happens. It is important to sleep at least eight hours every night.

Try to drive all hours of the day and night. Spend time in the car, focus on positivity, and contemplate the pleasure you can derive from driving. This will help you confront your fears head on!

Going to the doctor and getting a diagnosis for your panic attacks will help you begin getting treatment for them. Many things can cause anxiety in different people, so there’s no ‘one size fits all’ strategy. If panic attacks are starting to become more unmanageable for you, make it a point to get professional advice.

By learning to use relaxation strategies, you can stop a panic attack before it gets out of control. Meditation and yoga are effective ways to learn how to relax and refocus your thoughts.

Always make certain to monitor how anxious you are feeling. Monitoring stress and anxiety is crucial in heading off a potential panic attack. Becoming more vigilant will help you to regain control over your feelings of anxiety. Your heightened awareness can help you, because you can control the panic attack before it gets overwhelming.

Panic attacks can often be frightening, but with patience and effort you can reduce the frequency and severity of attacks. Ask your doctor how you can treat them safely. Use the tips laid out in this article to help cope with, and possibly eliminate, the panic attacks you may be having.
